We’re carrying out important refurbishments at Iglu Central Park later this year.
This page is the best place to get up to date info on what’s happening.
What’s changing?
Refurbishment of 300 standard studios including kitchens, wall and floor finishes, and furnishings.
Refurbishment of 16 bathrooms including wall and floor finishes, fixtures, and fittings.
Corridor finishes refresh including wall and floor finishes, signage, and lift lobby pinboards.
Communal study spaces, flexispaces, and the media room will also be refurbished once the studios and corridors are completed (timing to be advised).
When will it happen?
Works are scheduled from:
10 December 2025 to 20 February 2026
We’ve chosen this timing to avoid most of the busy study and exam periods and to align with the summer break, when many residents head home or travel.
How will this affect you?
Contract ends 9 December:
- Your apartment will need to be vacated by 9 December 2025 so refurbishments can begin.
Contract ends in 2026:
- Away over summer: Please pack your belongings, and we’ll complete the works while you’re gone.
- Need to stay: We can organise a temporary move to another apartment. Space is limited, so let us know your plans.
